Default Build Dates and Delivery
I have a confirmed build date for the 7th week of 2004. Historically how long have others waited until they were driving? The dealer is telling me I'll have my car by mid March. Is he full of it?

Default Yea, he's full of it. Build week 7 is next week, and you'll probably see your car
in April, at the very least.

I had build week 49 and picked up my car Dec. 30th.

Default I'm week 16 (april) and have been told I'll have it by end of May.
thankfully this dealer is very easy to deal with.

Default I had my car six weeks after the build week. Built mid September, received in Minnesota
October 30th.

That's 4-5 weeks from the build date and it's barely possible but prepare for the last week in March or first week in April.

Default It's the basic cycle that it takes to build the car. You do know that the car is built in Germany,
right? It's not like Germany is the same as Detroit michigan. It needs time to be built, loaded for transportation, shipped, customs, dealer prep, etc.

And that's what make me say that!
