Default Can you tighten up the steering feel?

Love the S4 but steering feel is very light. Is there any way to tighten it up or get some more road feel through the wheel?

Assuming everything in your car is properly functioning steering feel or road feel is mostly due to caster in the front spindles. With 50% of our torque going to the front wheels any significant amount of castor will lead to a darty feeling under acceleration. This is why most front wheel drive or all wheel drive cars have miserable "road feel". You can try to get ajustable upper link to adjust the caster but I doubt you will be happy w/ the end result.

Default your right on the money...

for the most part this is something you have to learn to deal with, unless there is a problem with your car.

Default Having said that....

Knowing how all of it goes together I am still really impressed w/ how much feedback I get w/ my B6 S4. I'm not sure what audi did but it's lots better than any other all wheel drive car I have ever driven. I almost think that it's the servotronic "artifically loading" the wheel up as the car goes faster that is tricking me into thinking the steering is loading up in a corner.

Thicker sway bar, wider tires, stiffer shocks.

Default Weird, I find FWD cars to have more road feel than RWD which seem numb in comparison

Of course torque steer is no fun.

Default Which RWD cars are we talking about

Just because a car has RWD doesn't mean that the manufacturer decided to give it any caster. BMW runs a lot of caster in their cars and they are universally acclaimed as having some of the best road feel. Also don't mistake turn in, nimbleness, or plain old heavy steering as road feel. In response to your comment above sway bars wider tires and stiffer shocks all help turn in, but do very very little for actual road feel.
