The 06 brochure indicates:

The premium package now includes a new wheel and the standard interior trim is brushed aluminum with the maple now an option. The only way to get front heated seats is with the premium package that includes the new wheel. However you can get the rear seats heated as a sep. option. Frankly pretty pissed at AUDI. I have a car on order for early September delivery (already in production) which will be in my mind significantly different than the car I ordered. The dealer is being pretty difficult with this as well. They seemed upset when I told them the car comes as I ordered or I don't buy it.

Anyone else know if these changes are accurate?

? What did you think you ordered? 06 has parktronic, and heated rears, only diff from 05.5

Not quite. There is a new 14-Spoke wheel that comes with the premium package and the inside trim is not birch it is brushed aluminum. Heated rear seats, DVD navigation etc. My point is that I ordered the $900 premium package, heated seats, DVD Navigation. I was expecting the birch interior as well as the Avis wheel. The premium package is now $1,700 and is only available with 14-spoke wheels. The birch is a $400 option.

I have not seen the new wheel and don't believe I should have to pay an additional $800 for them.

As long as you have it in writing listing what you are getting and the price you are fine. They will complain but they have to deliver it for the price listed.
