Clutch: How long do they last?
 

Yet another consideration in deciding whether to buy when my lease expires soon.

How long do clutches typically last in a car that has been driven half city and half highway? I realize it depends on how you drive, but I am just looking for an approximate range.

yeah i am curious as to out of warranty cost on this model

Clutches are owner-paid even if car is under warranty..clutch wear parts are not covered.

how much labor time on the b6? i know my b5 was 14 hours EEEK!

Nonsense. I've had two replaced gratis. Including all related components.

Friendly dealers will do it, and often do as goodwill. But it's not "officially" covered.
