ECU & Warranties - Any takers for similar liability with Audi? AMD?

0.Ct tuning chip is in the $4000 US range but is warrentied. Most german tuners do this or have this. AoA hasnt allowed for aproved tuners yet. I wish they would.

Audi IS NOT Volvo. The thinking at Audi is much different. ECU upgrade... Bye-bye warranty.

correct hence why i will never upgrade my ECU

you know me...... I like my warrenty to much to modify my car ;-)

We make very clear to ALL customers that when a car's ECU is modified....
 

You can say goodbye to your warranty...

This applies whether or not the ECU is reflashed or if the chip is removed and replaced.

This of course can also depend on the type of relationship you have with your dealer...

Isn't the relationship between Dinan and BMW upgrades similar to Evolve/Volvo above?

When your warranty's expired? Or will you even keep the car that long?
