Default first audi, first problem :D... timing stuff of course

hi all,

im sorry i couldnt find a clear and definite answer to my question even after a quite lenghty quest!

so i just bought a b7 s4 with 150 000km and 2 days later, the head gasket blew so im going to have that done but if im going to have the engine removed, i might as well have the timing stuff done too (the guy who sold it to me said it has been done but i dont trust a single workd coming from that dishonest (...) so i prefer buying parts and return them if theyre not needed).
So, budget is tight and i found a reputable mechanic that will accept my parts i just need a detailed list of the parts i need. i only want to keep the car for a few months so ill only do the basic stuff (chains, tensioners and guides).
i know ill need 4 chains
im not sure about the tensioner part? how many? position?
im confused with the guide, how many of them are there? and whats their positions?

thanks very much !
