first start of the morning.. cranks alot longer?

first time i started the car each morning, it takes alot longer to turn over. cranks for a while. this cant be normal.. can it?

Do you turn the key all the way on and wait 3 sec before cranking??

This will let your fuel pump build pressure first before cranking.

The battery could be going?

You never know how long a battery is sitting around before it is put into the car. I've had them go in as little as 1 yr.

if you have a few miles on it, it can be the

plugs. It can be fuel (lack of), spark and/or you've got a totally clogged air filter. If it was a filter it would happen all the time so thats ruled out
