Default found another scratch on my trunk... it seems like this car is a scratch magnet!

either i'm tryiong to be over-protective (always park with caution, etc...) but not i have a almost every panel affected by some sort or tiny scratch or ding... is it just me or there is a curse on these cars?

just wanted to vent, that's all...

Default Oh yeah!...

I hear exactly what you're saying. A fingernail can scratch the clearcoat on these Audis. And they don't simply come out with a scratch remover or wax.

I think it's due to a soft paint, can't use lacquers anymore, and these multi-stage, enviro friendly enamels are crap, IMO.

Default I hear ya, but I have problems with the inside of my trunk getting scratched? anyone else?

The plastic piece that lines the side of the trunk by the handle always seems to be getting new big gashes in it, I even cover my skis with something soft to protect this. Anyone else notice that their's is all scratched up too?

Default I have found that protecting it with multiple layers of a good wax...

like Zaino, allows for an easier removal of those pesky scratches.

But I completely agree, the car does seem to be a scratch magnet.

Default If you quit doing those girls doggie style on the trunk maybe you'd have less scratches...
