I have a 2008 S4 Cab and the remotes for the keys are no longer recognized by the car. I can only lock or unlock the car with the flip out key and must start the car within 10 seconds of unlocking the door or the alarm goes off. If the alarm does go off, once I start the car all is fine.

I have replaced the batteries in the remotes and tried several 'fixes' on forums, all to no avail. Is there a fix for this or must I take the keys and car to the dealership and have them resolve it?
