Memory seat and remote
I can program my key by holding down a number button and the unlock button on the key. However, if I then move the seat and lock the car with the seat in this new position, the remote reprograms itself to the new position, thereby erasing the original seat position I had programmed. Is this normal? The manual does say that when you lock the car the last seat position is always assigned to the key, but I was hoping that programming the key would prevent this (otherwise what's the point?).

I've noticed odd behavior when switching between drivers/keys
Although I notice it more when switching drivers after not having locked the car. For example, my husband uses his key (and memory seat position) and then pulls into the garage, leaving the car unlocked. I get into the car and press the memory seat number on the car itself. I make a stop, locking the door with my key remote. When I come back to the car and unlock the car with my key remote, it will move the seats back to my husband's memory seat position. If I reset the seat position again (from the car button) and continue on, things seem to get back to normal.
So, it's like it remembered the seat position of when the car was last unlocked....except that it ends up fixing itself after I do the memory seat button the second time.
I find it annoying, but since I drive the car most of the time, I just deal with it the few times that we switch drivers.
As far as remembering the last locked position, I'd say that sometimes it seems like it does. It certainly doesn't always do that after switching keys (as described above), but I have noticed that if I adjust the seat a little and then sometime later push my memory button in the car, the seat will move back.
