I like the stock sound better too. But, either way it sounds better than my E46 M3 stock.

I prefer stock exhaust, this mod might not be worth it 4 me

I think both sound great - comes down to personal preference
 

but Milltek provides hp boost (what happens to torque due to loss of back pressure???)

It sounds alot more open with the Miltek.....
 

I still think the Miltek Exaust is holding it back. Im really axous to here the fill kit installed once Pete has it installed. The car sounds more like a muscle car then a luxury car, but then thats when it comes down to personal preference. In person how much louder would you say it is?

Sound is one of the most subjective things in the world.

It will appeal differently to each of us - and in person is *really* the only way to be sure.

were the mics in the same location for the stock and milltek
 

the stock exhaust seems a lot more deep and raspy and the milltek clip seems like is more quite, maybe it is just where the mics were placed?

Ok, sounds great. In the beginning, sounds almost like an mustang.
 

Not too great at the higher rpms though.

Based on a 40hp gain with the full miltek kit and another 37+hp with a chip , if you had to estimate a 0-62 time for a char with the full exaust kit and a call with the exaust kit + chip what would yout best estimate be. I am trying to justify the risks associated with the warrenty and chipping. Trying to see if it is really worth it or if the miltek kit alone will do it for me. Thanks in advance for any insite you can give me.

Yes they were in the same place I did not moe the mic and it was on my licence plate.

Do you feel a huge difference or it's maybe just a placebo either with numbers supplied?
