I'm in desperate need of help just purchased a 05 audi S4 quattro 6 speed. oil pressure warning is going off when the vehicle hits 2000rpm and above. Have tried replacing oil level sensor and oil psi sensor. did check the pickup tube no sludge or residue seen with camera. At idle everything is perfectly fine. as soon as you hit the gas and rev it above 1500 to 2000 rpm oil psi warning goes on. it also has new oil and filter. Please help my mechanic is kind of lost and so am I.

Have you checked the codes (e.g. with a VAG-COM)? If not, best would be to check them and let me know.

Juxhinriza. My apologies for resurrecting this old thread, but what did you find out about your oil pressure problem? What ended up being the fix, assuming you found one?
