ok, ive seen many comparisons of s4 v8 vs. the m3... any comparisons of s4 cab?
i would like to see how the audi would do when it has 2 less doors and less weight, would be a more equal challenge if an s4 cab went against an m3 convertible....
anyone know of this comparison?

Don't think the S4 cab will be lighter; in fact probably heavier, due to stiffening etc. Have one on order and am expecting it to arrive in about 30 days. This is also true with M3 cab...

S4 cab is even going to be heavier than an Avant...
and thus have the dubious distinction as slowest S4 of the bunch.

since the A4 cab is a heavy "cruiser," I doubt the S4 is going to give the M3 a run for its money
in fact, I would even venture that the CLK500 cab is a more direct competitor. Both are smooth riding and have similar engines.

Here's the specs for the cab....
About 1/2 second slower than the sedan to 60.
Weighs a couple of hundred pounds more.
Looks like an A4 cab (except mirrors and wheels)Costs $7-9K more than an S4 sedan.
I cancelled my order.
