My car is a 2005 S4. I'm doing an engine swap. I'm about ready to swap flywheels. The Bentley manual says to mark the FW to the case. but I'm swapping from one motor to another. I don't see any timing marks, so I can't even put both engines on TDC. I see cam position sensors. and I see a crank? sensor on the bell-housing. It seems like the FW would need to be indexed, but how? The front pulley has a indexing pin.
Please help me understand what is going on.
