Hi all,

I had some kind of malfunction with the soft top on my '04 S4 cabriolet. When putting the top up the other day, the deck lid stayed open for some reason. The car thought it closed and the latches locked. Now, I can't close the deck lid because the little bars, which are supposed to lock and hold the deck lid down, are in the way.

Does anyone know if there's a way to make those latches release, so I can close the deck and try to reset the top? It might be that I have a bad sensor or something that a reset won't fix, but I'd like to try before I hand over my life savings to the dealer.
