Shifter Plate Removal
Hi All,
I have a 2009 S4 Cabriolet with a 6 Speed manual. I have two issues. Well, I have a lot more than two issues, but the car only has two. I leading edges of my manual shifter plate have curled up and I want to fix them. I do not know how to remove that plate. I have pulled up the boot, but am very afraid to just pull to lift plate out. Also, my front ash tray is stuck closed. Most likely due to over stuffed coins. How do I resolve? I have removed two 6mm screws at the back of that plate that screw in towards the back of the car, but seems no looser. The orange plastic pry tool is pointing to where they go...
