What should I watch out for when looking for an S4?
Hello there,
I'm in the market for 2004-2010 S4. I'm a highschool-college student, so I can't afford the oh so famous timing chain replacement. I've even been considering purchasing an A4, A5, or even an older A6, A8 instead of an S4 to avoid the potential repair costs. What should I look out for in an S4 and how do I keep an S4 from having a broken timing chain?
Thank you!

Oil leaks and timing chains
Oil leaks, especially the oil filter housing gasket. 4.2l are notorious for them. Get the v6 turbo if you can and if you’re looking for an a series go newer then 2007
