What I was trying to get across is that these services don't actually do anything besides an oil change and depending on the mileage a pollen filter. And you can have the dealer do an oil change for far less than what they charge for a service. I'm saying I will be getting my car serviced at the dealer (may even end up getting Audi Care) but if I don't get Audi Care I will just have them do a normal oil change or oil change plus pollen filter and pay much less than the cost of a service. Will my car be any less serviced than someone who gets the full service? Based on the information you listed the only things that they do extra is check fluids and top up if needed, oh and they also lubricate the windshield wiper arm pivots. If you don't want to check anything yourself or are not mechanically inclined enough to check all the things mentioned and top up fluids if needed, then I would agree that Audi Care is a better alternative than paying for each service individually.

The only thing you guys are not saying isd they also change the wiper blades as needed with audi car. I don't know how much the oem are but a good set of bosch can run 50 bucks. I called audi before I bought my car and they gave me audi care for free

Since this thread ranks pretty highly when you search Google for Audi S4 maintenance, it should be noted that a couple things that are not listed:
75k supercharger belt = around $300-400
40k, 75k DSG fluid change = around $500

Just got a quote of $ 850 for routine 55k service, includes oil, cabin filter and spark plug change.

The nice thing about AudiCare, when under warranty: Taking care of warranty details at the same time and getting a free loaner car, during service.
The 35k DSG service was a large chunk of the cost of AudiCare.

Yes, mine was covered through the 45k service by Audicare. 35/75 service are big ones with DSG service.

So sounds like I should not skip my 75k DSG service.
Anyone know how critical the supercharger belt service is? Is that something that should be inspected and replaced if need or always replaced at 75k?
