I have a 2010 audi S4 s-tronic with about 150,000K on it.
On a hot day and after driving for about an hour the car starts having hard gear shift from 2nd to 1st. when approaching stop sign car sometimes lunges forward when i am coming to a stop.
Hard gear change from P to R and also from R to drive on hot days. Very Random but happens only on hot days

I was thinking of buying the Mechatronics Repair Kit from ECS Part # 3099025.

I have no warning lights on dash.

Can anyone let me know if they think the Repair Kit will solve my problem ?
or if I should be doing something else to fix the tranny issues. I have always followed the service schedule for this car.

Maybe something with the fluid viscosity? Or perhaps something with the atf cooler? How long/how many kilometers since the transmission was serviced?

Transmission was serviced at 116579. The Car has 153000 on it now. I dont know the viscosity, but the gear oil that was used was VWC G052529A2 ?
Do you think it is worth a shot to install the repair kit, i think the job will cost about $1200.
