2013 S4 MMI But No Sport Diff
I am switching from a 2012 S4 with MMI and Sport Diff to a 2013 S4 with MMI but no sport diff. Long story.
Will not having sport diff affect my ability to change between Comfort/Normal/Dynamic? Will I still have those settings on the dash? |
With the 2013 if you had the sports diff the settings control is done in the mmi, no physical button. You won't get those settings without the sports diff. You can vagcom code an ads lite which will give you the options to select.
|
Doesn't matter how you vag com the car. IF there is no sport dif on the car, changing the settings will have no effect. And you will have no buttons on the console. You may be able to change the throttle response, steering and sondakator through the MMI.

You have the Drive Select button on the dash (below the A/C vents), the ability to change your individual settings *and* a drive select selection display in the instrument cluster right where the on-board computer readings are. |

Yes, I did the same thing and went from a 2010 sport diff to a 2014 no sport diff (not a long story at all). MMI on both cars.

ADS comes standard on the 2014 S4 but NOT the 2013 S4.
