s4 shut it down itself
My 2012 Audi S4 all of a sudden stalls and shuts off while I am waiting at a traffic light. The car completely shuts off and then flashes ABS BRAKE and AIR PRESSURE LIGHTS. When I restart the car, the engine light comes on. I went to Audi and they said that I needed a new voltage regulator and that was causing the problem. I do not think that just a voltage regulator would cause this. I read other forums and people said that it could be the ECM as well.
Has this happened to anyone else before? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!!

If still original - I'd replace the battery.
Remember you are supposed to "tell" the car that you have done so (via VAG-COM) otherwise it can treat the new battery as the old one and lead to problems.
