Hi,

I have a 2015 S4. Last week in the extreme cold weather my power steering went out when I was leaving work. Luckily I work close to the dealership so I was able to drive start there. I was told it was going to cost 2500 to replace the steering rack. I have read online about Audi's having this problem in cold weather. My car had all of its maintenance done on time and only has 60k miles. I called Audi and also my insurance company and there is no recall on it for my model. I am just confused and a little angry that this went out on a dangerous day of -40 degree weather and I could have been in a bad accident. On top of that 2500 out of pocket. I just hope this does not go out again next year when the weather is bad. I have had my car for 6 months and I really like my car. I just thought Audi would have a recall and take care of their customers.
