36 and 42 month lease numbers for 2014 S4
Hi all,
Looking at a lease on a 2014 S4 prem plus. The sale price hasn't been negotiated yet, but the dealer is giving me these numbers for a 36 vs 42 month lease. Note that these include the 1% Audicare residual bump:
36 months:
12k - residual 58% - MF .00088
15k - residual 56% - MF .00088
42 months:
12k - residual 54% - MF .00108
15k - residual 52% - MF .00108
The 36 month figures seem right per ridewithg, but I can't find any details on 42 month figures anywhere. If someone could post the 42 month rates are from Audi so I can see if the dealer is padding it, I'd appreciate it.

Leased my 2010 for 42 months because that gave me the better monthly payment. This time, dealer said 36 months was better. I didn't argue. BUT, This is the first time EVER that I was not looking to get out of my lease early and into a new or different car. Perhaps in another 3 yrs I will feel differently . Especially if the B9 is even better than the B8. One thing I can count on is that the B9 will have a bigger and even more grotesque grille .

Thanks for the input on the 36mo rates - still looking for the actual 42mo figures though. The dealer is telling me 42mo is the better deal right now (fees aren't an issue and I plan on ending the lease early anyway) but I want to confirm the numbers.

The Money Factor for 42 month leases is almost always a bit higher than terms of 36 months or less. It does not look like the dealer is padding the MF for the 42 month term.
A 42 month versus 36 month term usually ends up with a lease payment about $20 - $25 less. That does not mean 42 months is a better deal, just a slightly lower lease payment.
