A5 2011
Can anyone help me out..... My A5 will not even turn on... put key in.. parking brake light is blinking and all you hear is a clicking sound when you try to start.... never had this happen before... how do I get that parking brake to stop blinking to try an get the car started....

im trying to think if I remember why it did that.
If I remember correctly, I had to turn on the parking brake, make sure the car was in park, then turn off the parking brake.

You might want to also try the correct B8 A5/A4 forums. This is the B8 S4 forum. Somewhat different cars but also has similarities. How old is your battery? Its most likely dead. Classic symptoms.
