im looking into buying an S4 and im curious as to the cost to own. Does anyone ave any info for me on things that have broken and needed fixed or prices to have maintenance / upkeep? ANY INFORMATION IS GREAT !!!!!!!

Hard to answer your question without more information. Are you buying a brand new or used S4? I can only comment on my maintenance and upkeep expenses as I bought my 2014 S4 brand new. I purchased AudiCare at my free 5k service for around $800 IIRC, which included the 15k/1yr, 25k/2yr, 35k/3yr and 45k/4yr services. Well worth it IMHO, because I have a DSG transmission, and the first scheduled transmission service (part of the 35k/3yr AudiCare visit is around $650). The car also came with a 4yr/48,000 mile warranty, so if anything ever broke, it would've been covered. Nothing ever did, thankfully, but I did have the front wheel bearings replaced (under warranty) while chasing a vibration issue. *Note - replacing the front wheel bearings did not fix the vibration.

My upkeep expenses include gas, insurance, state inspection, property tax, license plate/registration, tires/tire rotation (may or may not cost, depending on where you have it done), brakes, car wash/car washing products etc. YMWV on all of these upkeep expenses.
Gas - The bulk if my driving is around town, and I average around 260 miles per tank or 19 mpg. Highway fuel mileage is much higher.
