Any Good 2015 Prices?

If anyone out there has priced and ordered a 2015 Prestige with all options (or not), I would love to hear what kind of numbers are coming in on a purchase price. Thanks in advance

I got mine for $1850 under invoice, which I think is an awesome deal! I'm a happy camper, :D

Loyalty+Supplier discount? Loyalty+Conquest?

AerotusX 07-13-2014 02:26 PM

Um, I just negotiated with two local dealers that both wanted my business pretty bad. I had them fought back and forth for 3-weeks, each time beating each others offer until one said they can't go any lower. I then took the lowest offer. No loyalty discount either. This is my first Audi. :D

So you got $1,000 conquest (factory money). I think he is asking if you included that $1,000 in your price or not. Sometimes people quote prices that include the factory money as part of the discount / price, while others do not.

That is correct. I got my S4 for $1550 under invoice, but that included $1,000 in conquest and $550 in equipment credit.

I'm not sure what conquest (factory money) is, and it wasn't discussed or listed anywhere. Basically, I did a special order based off the order option list. Added up all the "Invoice Price" + destination charge, then subtract $1850 from it.

I don't want to call shenanigans, but the odds of getting a brand new car for $1850 under invoice without any factory cash sounds really unlikely.

Does "invoice price" mean MSRP or Dealer's invoice?

Reddington 07-14-2014 06:33 AM

I would bet he got $1,850 off of MSRP. I find it hard to believe $1,850 under invoice on a 2015 is possible.

...then you would lose the bet! :o I know the difference between MSRP and Dealer Invoice. The MSRP was $62,675; I paid $57,472 (before tax & license). That is $5,203 below MSRP if you want to look at it that way.

If you are in SoCal, PM me and I'll refer the dealer and salesperson to you.

Best I could do after contacting several local dealers was the 6% ACNA discount, plus $1k loyalty incentive. So total was about $1450 below invoice (before tax/license)

AerotusX 07-14-2014 05:03 PM

That is actually a pretty good deal as well, for the Bay area. Anything under invoice is already a good offer either way.

Since invoice is 7% from MSRP (plus full freight), a 6% discount would be 1% above invoice before the $1K loyalty. Not sure how the math would get to $1450 below invoice.

I ordered my car and feel that I got a very fair deal. If anyone wants to discuss this in more detail feel free to private message me.

Dunno...I spec'd it on TrueCar's website and these are the numbers I got: $55,775 MSRP, $52,871 Invoice, $51,429 Sales Price.

Dealer's invoice. $1850 under MSRP is a horrible deal.
