Default APR Ultracharger

I installed this on my 2014 and not too impressed. When I first picked up the car after installation, performance seemed a little better, but nothing like I expected. The car gets heat soaked very quickly and there is no way to cool system down as it shares coolant with the engine. Bottom line is that it runs 109-110mph in the 1/4 with the new setup, 107-108 before when stock. I've checked out drag times and other data bases for similarly modded B8 Audi's, and see some are running above 120 with the dual pullies and tune. My IAT's are typically 145-150 deg F while staging, and hit 190's by end of the track. Like I said, there is no way to cool this system down. Other SC cars that I've had have separate IC cooling circuits allowing your to drain and add ice, and run the pump with aux fans while staging to cool everything. I rarely saw over 130. No such provisions here. System has been bled for air pockets twice. None were found. Only other suspect thing is that I'm only seeing 18 psi, when boost spec is 20. I'm not really sure what I should be seeing but if this were a turbo I'd suspect a boost leak. I don't know where the boost could leak in this roots style supercharger arrangement.

Anyone else have this system and what are you seeing performance wise? System is advertised as 200+ HP increase, I'm seeing 20-30. I've had the authorized installer look over car/system and they don't know what to think either.

Look at an AMS cooler, mine runs consistently at about 20 degrees above ambient air temps.

After dishing out several thousand already I really don't like the idea of replacing brand new parts. When you say 20 over ambient, do you mean during a 1/4 mile run, or like normal driving? My IAT's stay within 30 or so when just driving around, the problem is when you're sitting in staging lanes for 30 minutes plus then making a 1/4 mile pass. During the pass the temps raise 50 degrees. If you can make a 1/4 mile run and keep temps within 20 deg of ambient I'll make the switch! That's actually what a good intercooler system should do like the ones I have on my other cars.

The AMS "cooler", is this a heat exchanger or intercooler or ? Does it come with a overflow reservoir and is system separate from engine coolant?
