Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds", to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop:

Are you adding all of the trips up and averaging them for the number of years on the market? It looks like you are and doesn't that mess up the stats? You should take a snapshot of the 1st or second year of ownership and show the stats for that year only for each model year of car. Otherwise, you see the trend that is currently in all of your stats (a new car has fewer repairs...a 3-year-old car has a LOT more repairs, which is no surprise).

Sorry for the confusion. These stats always look at the past year only. Older cars tend to require more repairs, but not because we're including an increasing number of years.

The low, moderate, etc. is compared to the average for that model year.

24k on the clock... Had it since 11k. Been stage 2 since 12k. Not a single issue besides burning through tires based on how I drive.
