2012 S4 has 38k miles had it since 22k miles bone stock. Noticed it was burning oil like crazy within 3k miles of having it. The dealer performed an oil consumption test and i had to have my piston rings replaced at 25k miles. No problems since. Go figure...

Maybe because I'm not a member there are only 3 reviews for the a4/s4. I understand these are the same body; however, pretty different animals and probably shouldn't be lumped together without any division between the two.

It's the latter half of 2015 and there is only information up to 2012. I guess this is where consumer reports is king?
