Yeah, I'm just loathe to have the dealer touch anything to do with rattles. From past experience they generally make things worse.

This is really not complicated, but with dealers you never know

Where did you get that from and how much? How well does it match with the OEM Carbon Atlas trim?

Love this shot with all the contrast red stitching on the steering wheel and shift boot!

I originally thought about buying the piano black bezel and popping it in rather than the carbon. The price was the same either way. Piano black looks really good as well.

Both my original and CF bezels make those same noises. The CF bezel came with lots of little foam bits on it that made no difference at all.

I got it from Ocarbon. It took them longer to make that piece than it did for the entire order and delivery process for the car. I think it was $850 with a $200 core deposit that they never returned. Eventually I got tired of bugging them and gave up, so it costs $850. I would have raised a lot more hell about it, but I really wanted the CF bezel. Honestly if they don't have one in stock, don't do it.

The match is pretty good but not perfect. Due to the complexity of the part and the fact that it's hand made means that the weave pattern doesn't exactly match the other piece. It's the same fabric to start with but it has to be bent and stretched into all sorts of tiny shapes which makes it impossible. I suspect this may be why Audi didn't do it in the first place. It's really only a big problem on the very edges where the pattern kinda falls apart. Also the chrome bit around the MMI screen has a small gap on the top. The color of the CF bezel is slightly blacker than the factory trim. Despite these flaws, every single person to sit in my car absolutely loved it. So if you can overlook that and accept the compromises of a hand made part, then it'll be just fine.

The return of the "Superman" edition. I have seen a few 335is over the years with the Medium bright blue exterior and red interiors. But very few S4s configured that way. Not my cup of tea, but if you really like yours that way, go for it.

Default CF trim for Layered Wood

What's involved with the swap and anyone interested? Looking at 2014 S4 with Carbon Atlas trim...would prefer aluminum and black wood...takers?
