Default Rough shifting with Revo tune

I have a B8 2010 S4 with 58K miles on it that I recently went for the stage 1 tune and that is it. Ever since the tune I have been noticing much rougher shifting and am curious if anyone else has had similar issues or could enlighten me on possible causes. I tried searching the forums but seem to be terrible at it. Any info would be helpful. I still have powertrain warranty through audi for 100,000 miles if the tranny is going but would have to get flashed back and take into dealer.

sounds like the DSG is going, the tune shouldn't have anything to do with your DSG's shifting other than pushing it harder and maybe you seeing what she can do with the new tune. There are two common failures for the DSG, your probably experiencing one of them, but then again, this DSG Is rough when warm and even rougher when hot, so it might be normal. Audi won't do anything unless it gets real bad and your car throws codes. There is also a recent software update that helps, but once you get that, you'll need to go back to Revo and get the matching tune.

Thank you for the information, very helpful. I may talk to the shop that flashed it and see if they could flash it back so i can take it into the dealer to have it looked at. Anyone else with any more suggestions or info please post. Thanks!

Could just need to relearn... You could have the dealership reset it and it'll be rough while learning, but might be better in the long run.

If your expecting smooth shifting from DSG when your punching it, I think your mistaken. Its trying to shift quickly and their isn't a torque converter. So it putting your head into the back of your seat is normal LOL.

Another thing to consider is having the DSG software updated. I've had that done on my car and noticed a difference. Also ensure your doing your regular DSG maintenance.

Take a ride in a Carrera S PDK. It makes a pretty loud thunking sound as it clicks through each gear. It's just a function of high torque through a DSG.
