So I have driven the car about 200 miles and the light has occurred 4 times. It's telling me to add 1 quart after running for 45 mins so I put half a quart in then rechecked and it said it was full. The light came on again the next day so I let it sit for an hour and checked it again and now it says to reduce oil level a little. I suspect a possible issue with the sensor but I. We'd to get a dipstick to say for sure. Any ideas?

This is from my thread a few weeks ago.
It turns out that my Oil Fill Sensor was fine.
It was the hood latch. I brought the car in to make sure the Oil Sensor was the problem and get an estimate for the repair, and the Audi Dealer fixed it for free.
He said it was a common problem for the hood latch to short out and not send the signal back to the Oil Fill Sensor.

I bought a dipstick off ecs last night. But I will deffinetly ask the question at the dealer about the hood latch. Still has some warranty left. Thanks for the feedback
