Default Headlights: Adaptive vs. Non-Adaptive
So i just wanted to know what the main difference was in regard to adaptive vs nonadaptive headlights. I have non adaptive headlights on my car and considering purchasing the euro headlights but the adaptive version. Would i be able to activate the adaptive feature w/ a vagcom?

Adaptive turns the lights with the front wheels in corners.

Canadian spec cars come with Adaptive headlights - I have driven both and can tell you the difference is quite noticeable. Love mine. Not sure why this didn't come standard with US spec cars.

Any time I see " I will never buy a XXX." I know an OP is usually bashing for no real reason. Mine works great on my 2012.

I am trying to find out where they weren't available or, were just disabled until the law changed which it now has

The recent regulation change for dynamic headlights is not related to the swiveling mech of the B8 AFS.

They only came on Prestige trim levels.
