Looking into getting 2014 Audi S4
Hey everyone,
New here, and wanting to buy my first Audi and was looking for some information and and feedback from those of you who have owned one before..
I'm looking at getting a B 8.5 2014-2015 Audi S4, looking to get something with 40,000 km on it or lower..
ive done some research and from what ive read they seem like strong reliable cars, and im wanting to hear what you guys have to say,
and suggestions on packages i should look for like progressiv or technik?
for those of you who have owned this car are they reliable cars, whats the most common things that go wrong with these, things i should look out for etc...
anything would help as i'm new to this stuff and have no one to help me out on it!
thanks!

I have a 2014 with about 28000 miles (45000 km) and it's been very strong and reliable. Mine is the Premium Plus with Black Optic. I'm not sure what that equates to in Canada, if anything. I haven't had any maintenances expenses, as I purchased Audi Care up front, so my annual services have been paid. I have one service remaining. I've had to replace the tires which is routine maintenance. I have no 'go' mods, only a couple for 'show', which are lighting. I have also made a few behavioral tweaks using Carista (windows and sunroof open and close with key fob/turn off eye brow wink). The car develops sqeaks and rattles over time. Some can be found and squelched easily, others may require some minor intervention. My 2014 has the timing chain rattle upon (cold) startup (there's a TSB) but I chose not to have it fixed, as many people who have had it done end up having other problem as a result. It's too soon to tell whether there will be any long term implications.
Mine has the sport differential and while I have never driven an S4 without it, I think it's a cool feature to have. If you get to experience it, you'll know what I'm talking about, otherwise you probably won't miss it.
The interior consists of quality materials and excellent craftsmanship.
This car puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel, and to this day, I get plenty of compliments.
I highly recommend getting this car if you find one that meets your requirements.
