New (used) S4
 

Just stopping by to say hello. Today I turned in the 2013 Q5 for a slightly used (4000 miles) 2015 Ibis White S4. MMI, Technology Package, B&O and Nappa leather for $47K. I think I did well.

Sport Diff?

That was the first thing I wondered.

Unfortunately no. :-( But given that I went in to buy a new S3 for just a few K less, I'm happy.

Congrats....pics? manual?

It's an auto. I considered a manual, but the reality is that for me it's a daily driver which means a lot of bumper to bumper traffic in Seattle. I will say that after one day of commuting, I'm not looking back at the Q5.

The funny thing is how much more I liked it vs. the S3, which I was assuming I'd like. The S3 seemed well . . . . Cheap. Coming from the Q5 everything about the S3 seemed a step down. It felt plasticy, the rar seat seemed almost useless (I'm 5'8" and my head rubbed the liner). There was poor visibility. I didn't like the popup MMI screen. The turbo lag was very noticeable. I didn't get to take it out on the twisties which may have changed my mind . But in town the S4 felt, well, right. The sales guy didn't really want to take me out in it. But after 2 minutes I did the absolute wrong thing and said "Yeah, this is the right car for me". Oops there goes my negotiating leverage :-)

Very nice! Manual or Auto, it's a personal choice and we all drive in different environments. Congrats on your new ride, it looks great!

Nice ride, you may want to get some Red Supercharged Badges for your first cosmetic mod. I still can't figure out why it comes with that confusing V6T moniker.
