Sorry for what is probably a really silly question, but does anyone know what size screws I need to attach my rear license plate? I keep trying different sizes but haven't found the right one yet. Thanks!

License Plate - Plate Bolts

6mm (aka M6)

Length depends on the type of frame you're using:
none = 8mm
regular frame = 12mm
plastic cover frame = 16mm
extra thick cover frame = 20mm

Thanks. I thought I bought that size, but maybe they gave me the wrong thing. I feel like Goldilocks - too small, too big, but no 'just right' yet.

Are the screws that came from the dealer stainless steel?

i forgot what size i chose, but i just went to the local hardware store to test fit some metric loose bolts they had. I just gave the cashier my credit card to hold onto while i ran in/out of the store. I chose the ones that require an allen wrench....forget what those bolts are called.
