Replaced S4 bulb now get headlight warning
Hey guys, I have an S4 B8, yesterday I started getting a warning that the right headlight was out. It's true, it was out, so rather than go to the dealership, I figured do it myself. Bought a bulb at NAPA and replaced it this morning. It seems to work even when warmed up (the old one would work for a minute or two and then die). I have lw beam, hi beam, DRLs, turn signals all seem to work, but I am getting ac couple of warnings about the light NOT working on the dashboard. Any ideas what's going on here? It actually looks like different warnings than I had yesterday, but still about the same light.

Th exact error I am getting "range control defective". I took the headlight assembly out and put it back in again. It all looks correct. Could the bulb be lacking auto-leveling? Is it possible to have the bulb clocked 90 degrees the wrong way or something?
