how did you attach the black mesh grill behind the grill? what paint did you use on crash bar and did the grill include airtemp sensor attachment? i tried to install mine today but i cannot find a place to attach the sensor..thanks

How did you attach the black grill mesh behind the grill?what kind of paint did you use on crash bar and did the grill came with air sensor grill attachment? i tried to install mine today but i cannot find a place to put the sensor...thanks

The black screening was attached using pop rivets. Used heat resistant black spray paint (for barbeque grills) for the crash bar. There was no airtemp sensor attachment on the grill.

Do you have any photos showing how you installed the pop rivets? I bought the screen from Don but am having a really difficult time getting the pop rivets to stay in. I used a 1/8" drill bit but have had no success with the exception of only a few.

The mesh is a screening material (hurricane resistant)

I never had any problems with overheating.
