Default Samsung Galaxy S2 compatibility

Has anyone tried the Samsung Galaxy S2 on a B8 A4 or S4? The audiusa.com compatibility tool has not been updated yet to show this one, but the Sansung Captivate is shown as compatible

Say again?! 2012 S4 MMI has bluetooth a2dp capability? This is the first I've heard and everywhere else I see people clamoring for it.

This would be great news as I'm picking one up on a couple of weeks and have yet to find confirmation!

I never said a2dp..I said the Bluetooth works well, as in for the phone connection. You can connect it in the glove box just like an iPhone if you purchase the USB dongle.

Sorry to get your hopes up.

Ah yes I see, I got my hopes up when I saw bluetooth and music so close together in the sentence. but it sounds like the only connection is still hardwired via the glovebox. What is the connection exactly? Audio EXT? I've got a Nexus S (Android). I think the only connections available are Audio EXT. or a2dp.
