Stainless Steel Texture or Carbon Fiber Inlays?

Both are really nice. You should try to check them out in person, as they're very different.
CF is sporty, but also has a warmth/richness to it. Very glossy. Seems to be the most popular inlay, at least here.
SST is sporty, with a cool/techie look. The texture itself is much more interesting in person than any pics I've seen. More of a matte look.
The other thing to consider is that with SST, you get a glossy "Piano Black" plastic on the center console. Some like it, others think it scratches easily and is impossible to keep clean/free of fingerprints. With CF, the center console is CF. The plastic gloss on the CF will also scratch if you're not careful, but the pattern and depth of it seems to hide blemishes better.
FWIW, I went with CF and am very happy with it. Good luck with your decision!

I have the SST and like it a lot. You should see it in person to appreciate the detail and finish.
I went with it partly because it seemed to "blend" with the silver plastic trim around the instrument cluster, so it doesn't stand out as much as being a different color/finish.
I have only had the car a little over a month, so I'm not sure how the piano black trim will hold up over time. It looks good so far.

The stainless look good but with the silver plastic around the dash it can be a little much for some folks. I don't normally like the CF but it really smooths out the interior and I think it flows better. whatever that means.

I might have preferred the CF if they did the whole dash, but I went with SS for my Quartz Gray S4 as the Audi CF bits seemed ridiculously over-priced. Have lived with the car for 2 months and no regrets. Would rather spend the money on something that adds function, or possibly paying for speeding tickets.
