STaSIS 390mm BBK

People who buy Stasis brakes are more concerned with how they work than how they look. If all you want is a BBK for looks, clearly you are in the wrong thread. If you want the best BBK for our cars that money can buy, the Stasis kit is all you need. Hands down the best BBK I've ever owned and that's having owned Stoptech and Brembo setups in the past.

I knew a former S4 guy that put an Alcon setup on his 335i. Pretty awesome stuff. He's an instructor in the BMW CCA driving schools. It's a serious setup that can handle a lot of abuse.
I'm not at the level where I need that kind of stopping power yet, but we'll see how she does with stock rotors and race pads on a track. The wide tires, weight and the speed of the S4 could put it in a league where I'm overwhelming the stock setup in the desert.

Jeff, as it turns out I'm at a level where I need that stopping power. I completely annihilated my front left rotor at Laguna Seca this weekend (front left inside pad went down to the metal). The rears are completely fine. I put a pyrometer on the front discs after a run (and a cool down lap) and it came up as 752 degrees. Rears were at 500. I have 16k miles on the car.
I was hoping the ~$4100 was for a two axle set and I could cut it in half This is not my daily driver and I need to make a decision next month to get ready for the next event, about whether to use an OEM replacement rotor and racing pads or go for the 390mm. PM me if you can offer a price below list.

Not bashing on Alcon, as they do make good stuff. I had Stoptech before and they work just as good for almost half the price? Brembo is also the same. Anyone with experience in alcon, brembo, and stoptech can comment ??? Thanks

I think the difference is the stoptech is not a floating rotor, and it's the same size as stock (330mm vs 380 +-10mm).
