Wiper Blade Woes
Hi all, I just got back from about 200 miles on I70 through the rockies and multiple storms and the car performed flawlessly...except for one thing. THE WIPER'S SUCK! I stopped in to a Napa and was told there was no replacement alternative only the OEM blades. Has anyone out there managed to upgrade your blades? Please share the knowledge. Thanks, Alan

I was dumb enough to purchase the OEM blades again. I realized the issue wasn't that the blades had worn out, but for the simple fact that there crap. Looking at the local stores around here I did find that Trico Force fits our car. I haven't tried it yet since our OEM blades are costly and useless, but I have to give them a fair run =/

Where is this rant coming from???? I have had zero problems with my wiper blades after 20,000 miles, two mid-atlantic winters, and the rainiest summer in the history of weather. Still on the original blades and they are in great shape. Zero streaking.

It's not a rant but an observation after putting on 37,000km on my car. I drive mainly on the highway and I'm left to believe that there isn't enough pressure on the windshield. I personally get streaks in the middle of the driver side window and like forza1976 stated the passenger side can get fairly bad. I'm going to try other options later as my blades are fairly new.

I put on PIAA blades made in Japan. Excellent quality. I also use RainX or similar on all my cars all windows. I would never go without RainX. I apply it twice a year. As an added benefit so much easier to clear off snow and ice.

Not a rant and living in Philly is different then living at 8000 feet in the mountains. The OEM blades simply don't perform that great on cold and snow. Nothing new here, most OEM blades suffer similar issues. The after-market heavy duty blades work much better but none of them will fit an S4 so I was wondering if anyone had a solution.
