Default Changing brake fluid for race track?

I'm taking my S4 on the race track next week and I've read on previous posts that people recommended to swap the DOT4 brake fluid that is standard with the S4 for a better quality brake fluid.

Does it really make a difference and if so what kind of brake fluid do you recommend?

Thanks for your input!

I went to one track event in May in the wet so was not too hard on brakes...but hard enough to realize I want a brake fluid flush with higher boiling point before my next event on June 18th. Going with MOTUL RBF-600. I think it is worth it.

If you want to change fluid every 12 months, go with RBF-600. If you can change it every 6 months, go with RBF-660.

It is very needed to track duty as your brake temps will exceed 1000F and standing temps on the paddock will exceed 700F.

Personally I prefer Castrol SRF over Motul 600 or 660. Lasts longer due to a much higher wet boiling point (518 vs 400) but is significantly more expensive. Most people go with the less expensive fluid and change it out more frequently.

FWIW I've actually been using Stoptech 660, which I presumed equivalent. I don't know if it costs more or less than Motul 660.
