Well APR has their dealer flashing tool out

Except that Revo is messing with knock sensitivity, GIAC isn't significantly more popular than APR, and you can always flash back to stock to avoid a TD1/T10 (This has been available at APR dealerships for a while), and now you can flash right back at your dealer after taking it to the dealership for service.
Reason why this took so long is that they designed this thing to accomodate more than just the SIMOS in the B8 V6T. It's modular and will allow them to get dealership hardware unlocking out for future ECUs much faster, no soldering or desoldering required.

Just saying, they're lighting it up performance wise. We have an 'all audi' quarer mile list over there and I entered all the REVO times (as well as the 30 or so other B8 times. Two things jumped out
1. REVO tuned cars are ****ing fast (saw one up close at the strip last time
2. manual guys are losing ground when tuned to the DSG guys...but the fastest stock time is manual (by far).

DA 2100 Dragtimes - 2400 miles - intake, tune, 100 octane - ESP/ASR off
1.7915 60ft
5.2327 330ft
8.0115 1/8 mile
89.23 1/8 mph
10.3905 1000 foot et
12.3875 1/4 time
114.81 mph
Based on the logs that I have seen they run more timing and experience less boost bypass... Also, seems that they reduce the level of some of the built in safety mechanisms that will prevent detonation and potentially grenading the motor... To this point I haven't seen a post with anyone blowing their motor though so the tune may be "safe"... I think will know more as the summer goes on and people start pushing the car in hot weather as that is where the trouble would be seen, as opposed to the cool fall/winter temps... Personally, I went with APR and have no regrets and would do it again...

I can't remember through all the posts but what was your best with just a stage 1 93 tune with your intake? If you even ran it that way?

If I owned a 3.0T I'd go APR all day. I've said that before. They're supporting the platform while REVO will write a file and then forget about you guys.
