A friend is looking at a 2010 S4 with the 3.0 Supercharged engine. Automatic transmission.
It has 50k miles and the asking price is $27k.

Is that a good deal?

What's the few important things he needs to consider?

Any warranty? If not, service records are critical. Weak spots are Water pumps, T-stats, and DSG troubles.

You will want one with a sport dif. Some with the auto trans(DSG) have had some issues with mileage. Make sure to get an extended warranty. It will cover the DSG as well as other issues. These cars have been really reliable. But ALL German cars are expensive to repair out of warranty
