Where you able to test drive an S4?

I'm currently debating between an A4 and an S4. I test drove the A4 and liked it but want to see if I feel like the S4 is worth the extra money to me. No dealers near me have any 2010's in stock and the last two dealers I've talked to say it's unlikely there will be any 2011's to test drive either since all of the cars coming in are orders from customers.

I can't justify ordering a $50K car without ever test driving it. Has anyone else run into this?

If you like the A4, just multiply the experience x3 :) It's hard to find one in stock as they only manufactured roughly 7,000 for 2010 and the U.S. got 3,000 of them. I read this somewhere and I'm not sure what their plans are for 2011.

This time of year new S4s can be hard to find, but not impossible

This time of year new S4s can be hard to find, but not impossible. So you are located in Massachusetts? A simple Autotrader search reveals 8 new 2010 S4s within 100 miles of Boston.

car search

Once you get the dealer's name on the Autotrader search you can check out inventory & contact info on the dealers website. You should be able to find a car to test drive, if you are willing to travel.

Sorry I should have mentioned that I called all my local dealers and all the 2010's have been spoken for and aren't available for test drives, so while it says there's inventory online there really isn't

Awesome suggestion.

I've driven the A4 as a loaner and I agree, it's like X3 in every way...and the A4 is a fantastic car. If you are a fan of the A4 then you will be a bigger fan of the S4. I've bought cars in the past without test driving them.

Corvette
G35
M45...drove the M35 and knew I liked the 6 cylinder...the 8 had to be better.

If for some reason u can't test drive it, most everyone here will agree the S4 is one heck of an experience.

Mine is due in a few weeks and I never test drove one before I ordered, although I have owned 3 Audi's before this one, so I kind of new what I was getting into...

In this case you might be able to make an exception. :)

Nashua Audi has a Sprint Blue S-Tronic with not much else. I drove it (gently) a month ago, it's still there.

Nashua Audi is a great place. Call them for a test drive. I bought my S4 there and my A4 before that.

I didn't test drive before I bought it. All the ones at the dealer were customer factory orders. Additionally, they come with summer tires and I was shopping in late winter.
