354 DIN x 0.986 = 349 SAE

Saw the new front look on Audi's website, not digging it. I am glad that I got my this year.

Hi, I don't see any difference between 2018 and 2019, can you tell me what has changed?

If you look at Audi's USA website, the lower parts of the front are different, especially the lower side grills on both side. Some sort of chrome or shiny pieces there. The shapes are different too. Even with the Black Optic package, it doesn't look like it's blacked out completely.

Update. This didn't happen. Stopped in my dealer today and it sounds like they were legitimately released from port yesterday or today. They'll be delivering my car on January 2.

Premium Plus / Quantum on Magma / S-Sport / 19" / B&O / Carbon trim. Ordered a set of Axis 19s w/ Pilot Sport A/S 3+ from Tirerack that will be arriving at the dealer prior to delivery.

Hope that means the one I ordered in October will get released soon. I wanted to buy it this year for various financial reasons. If it slips, I might have to cancel the order, and that would bum me out. Probably bum the dealer out, too.

Audi Oakland asked for a 10% deposit. He also said if I didn’t take the car, they would only refund if and when they sold the car! I have never heard of this. I said no thank you and $1,000 and fully refundable at any time is reasonable to me. He then said he would look dumb asking his manager for that. I really could not believe this is normal practice.

I put $500 down recently for an S5 SB order. You should have told the salesman to go %$^# himself and walked out for even making that request. I'm sure there are plenty of other Audi dealers in the Bay Area.

Yes. Thank you. that is the most ridiculous request I have ever heard. II told him that and he said maybe he could come down to around $2,000, but they would still keep the deposit. Asked for a check or credit card on the spot. There are definitely many options in the Bay Area. Also his pricing was way off. The intimidation tactics he used was quite insulting. I will never give Audi Oakland another chance. It is quite shocking they would ask for that. It was not a crazy exclusive paint or unusual spec.
