Stuff I noticed right away:
- New lights
- New front bumper + grille
- New doors: shoulder line now breaks, was previously entire length of car
- New MMI GUI + controls; command wheel now gone and now looks to be a Q5-style trackpad (or is that now a cubby?)

The more I look at it the more I like the fender flared "boxes" vs the single continuous shoulder line crease we have now. I also like the rear bumper and rear lights more (just not the chrome strip). However, I don't like the new front bumper (grille, lower fog light area, or the front lights), or the giant touch screen. Looks so out of place. Glad I got a '19 although I would have liked the new side sheet metal.

ugh - I try to not be superficial but the refresh is some kind of ugly. That and I don't like the "iPad stuck on the dash interface" with no **** or 2nd touch screen interface down where it's easy to use. Guess I should try and find a '19 while I can huh?

From the preliminary looks at the 2020 S4's design, it definitely feels like its a step backwards. There are some polarizing design cue's that doesn't fit with the original S4's clean and sharp design language. Only exterior design update I am liking is the new headlights. I bet if someone photoshoped this new headlight onto the existing 2018 design, we'd have a winner.
As for the new touchscreen MMI interface, I can take it or leave it. But the newer interface is nice.
