Default All the S & RS Cars have disappeared from Audi UK website!

Hi Guys,

I have noticed for the last few days, all Audi S & RS cars and SUVs have disappeared from Audi UK website. Does anyone know the reason for it?

Thanks

Someone on A5OC said that the 2019s hadn't launched in the UK yet, but the complete absence makes me wonder if it's related to the emissions debacle. They're still struggling to meet the WLTP standards.

yeah there is something weird going on. UK is a big market for Audi and not even a single S or RS model is available on their UK site. If you look at Audi Australia, Audi Ireland or Audi USA websites, you will find all the high performance models available on these sites.

I just asked Audi UK on their facebook page and they said:

Good evening, Farzad. At the moment a number of S and RS models have been temporarily suspended from order whilst they are updated and switched over to Model Year 19. Is there anything specific we can assist with whilst we await the updates?

I don't think I've ever seen them completely remove a product line at changeover, though. It's a sales tool if nothing else, and removing it just generates these questions. The post on A5OC (here) is from Jan 9, so they've been gone for a while.

I'm calling shenanigans.

I'm pretty sure they deleted the S cars on the US website before the 2019 launch as well. They eventually added them back in when the 2019s were available.

For weeks, though? Not even a ‘2019 coming soon’? I guess I’m used to the practically instant switchover that companies like Apple perform, but it’s not the only area where Audi finds itself behind the times compared to modern tech companies.
