Anyone have a tow hitch on their S4?
I have an S4 on order to replace my A3 and will need to find a way to get the bikes from place-to-place in the new car. I have a hitch-mounted bike rack that I prefer over the roof rack because the lady is only 5 foot tall and cannot reach the roof. I have a hidden hitch on the new Miata that is perfect since it cannot be seen unless I put on the "L" bracket with the female connector for either a bike rack or tow ball (to pull a lightweight race trailer). The A3 has a standard hitch but it doesn't detract from the looks of the rear of the car too badly.
From the hitches I've seen for the A4, it requires some cutting of the bumper for the receiver to come out. I'd be ok with this IF the receiver can be removed and the look from the rear of the car is clean. I can't seem to find anything online who makes a hitch for the S4, but I'm assuming the install is similar to the A4.
Finally, my question: Do any of you have a hitch on your S4, or are there vendors on these forums that fabricates something similar to what I have on my Miata?

Any luck on your search?
I had a Etrailer hitch receiver installed on an A5 Soortback. It’s supposed to work with A4 and S5 B9, but doesn’t mention S4.
I own a S4 now and seems that it should fit...
What did you do?

I went ahead and installed the Etrailer hitch and made the appropriate cutting to the underside of the bumper (not visible). I would've loved to have a hidden hitch, but I added a little Audi logo hitch cover so it doesn't look all bad.

Yeah it’s stable as can be. It mounts onto the primary bumper beams so it’s a little bit of a reach on install, but not too bad. It safely holds a 1up rack with two 29+ mountain bikes without any movement. Just watch for steep driveway entries as it drags if not careful.
